WELCOME
In light of the rapidly evolving security environment, the EUDEX Conference by CPM will place a stronger focus on one of the most critical gaps in European defence: European Deep Strike Capability.
Against this backdrop, the EUDEX Conference by CPM serves as a strategic forum within the framework of EUDEX, bringing together senior decision-makers from governments, NATO, the armed forces, European institutions and the defence industry.
The discussions focus on how Europe can build credible deep strike capacity — from ISR, targeting and command structures to systems delivery, industrial depth and ammunition production at scale.
The conference is structured around four core questions that define Europe’s emerging deep strike debate — from operational requirements and decision-making to industrial delivery and scalable production.
Panel I
Germany as Framework Nation: Closing Europe’s Deep Strike Gap
Panel II
The Kill Chain Problem: Cyber Capabilities, ISR, Targeting and C2 Before the Effector
Panel III
What Industry Can Deliver: Systems, Mass and Timelines
Panel IV
Deep Strike at Scale: Ammunition, Production Capacity and Industrial Endurance
Positioning
Europe’s Deep Strike Conference is designed to move the debate beyond broad political ambition and towards the reality of what can actually be fielded, integrated and sustained. It addresses the real capability gap facing Germany and other European nations: not only the question of long-range effectors, but the full chain of deep strike capability.
At its core, the conference examines how military requirements, operational urgency and industrial feasibility can be brought into closer alignment. The objective is not to discuss defence in the abstract, but to identify what Europe — and Germany in particular as a potential framework nation and pace-setter — can realistically deliver in the coming years.
A focused forum on how Europe can build credible deep strike capability — operationally, technologically and at industrial scale.
At the same time, the JAPCC Annual Conference is taking place in Essen with over 400 senior NATO representatives. This proximity creates an exceptionally high-level security policy environment and enables in-depth dialogue between NATO, governments, the armed forces and industry.
